When the first parts come off the machine, we measure them to ensure quality standards are met to withing +/- tolerance of 0.005 inches.

Yes, you can. However, to keep costs and down-time to a minimum, you'll want to insure your steel is as clean as possible before you bring it. Seconds tubing can have open seams, or other defects. If defects cause head crashes, extra time is required to set up the machine again.
